Tia Baruti- BS, MA Candidate, MFT Intern
Tia is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern with a background in counseling, mental health leadership, community advocacy, and nonprofit work.
She is currently completing her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Trauma-Informed Systemic Therapy. She uses a collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. She works with adolescents and adults on communication, conflict resolution, relationship challenges, family dynamics, trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation and self-esteem.
As a U.S. Army Veteran and community advocate, Tia brings a culturally responsive, compassionate, and real-world perspective to her work. She provides LGBTQ+ affirming care and is especially passionate about helping couples and families strengthen connection and navigate life's transitions.
