Vanessa Corley, MS Clinical Mental Health and Counseling Services

Vanessa Corley is a U.S. Air Force veteran who earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2016. Vanessa completed her internship with Taking Control and is a recent graduate from Walden University with an MS in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling specializing in military families and culture. Vanessa is passionate about serving and giving back to the military and veteran community. She has experience working with individuals with various issues, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Vanessa uses psychodynamic therapy to help improve her client's quality of life by helping them gain a better understanding of the way they think and feel. The idea is that this will improve their ability to make choices, relate to others, and forge the kind of life they would like to live. She also uses cognitive behavior therapy and person-centered therapy approaches in counseling.
