The purpose of this service is to provide education to individuals who cause harm in order to reduce and prevent domestic violence. These services are available to individuals who either volunteer or are court-ordered to attend a Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP). PAIP supports people who exert control over their partners through physical, emotional, sexual, or economic abuse, such as controlling finances. The program aims to stop abuse by helping participants address their violent and abusive behavior, accept responsibility for their actions, modify harmful attitudes and beliefs, and gain the tools necessary to become and remain healthy, non-abusive partners and parents.
