Erika Drane, BA, MS, NCC

Picture
Erika Drane invests a meaningful level of value in the art of introspection, thus empowering individuals and families to embrace their unique journeys while striving to evolve into healthier, more fulfilled versions of themselves. She aspires to create a curative atmosphere that is safe, encouraging, and socially inclusive for all to pursue change. Using clinically tailored treatment and mindfulness-based interventions, her approach supports helping families to live happier lives together. Incorporating warmth and humor into her work creates a space in which diverse client-systems feel comfortable engaging in critical thinking and self-analysis. In her role as a master’s level professional counselor, Erika is committed to the improvement of individual and family relationships. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science, and a minor in Child Psychology, all from National Louis University. Research suggests that unhealthy relationships can cause physical and emotional strain, while healthy relationships can strengthen and improve overall well-being. Erika believes in the importance of integrating past and present experiences, thus helping clients feel strengthen and more satisfied both individually and in relationships with others.
